We’d like to congratulate client, Eighth Blackbird and producer, Bryce Dessner (The National) for their Grammy-nominated album, “Filament.” They are nominated for Best Chamber Music/Small Ensemble Performance and it is well-deserved!

Joe also had the great pleasure of mastering the upcoming album from Daughter, mixed by Nicolas Vernhes.  “Not To Disappear” is to be released on 4AD/Glassnote in 2016.

Other notable projects that came through the studio this year:  Little May, “For The Company” (Dew Process) produced by Aaron Dessner (The National).  LNZNDRF, a collaboration between Ben Lanz (Beirut) and Scott and Bryan Devendorf (The National).  Joe’s done several projects for label, Other People, including “Trembling Air” by 12z.  He continues doing work for DFA, including “Black Bubblegum” by Eric Copeland.  Twintapes, Tedo Stone, Quiet Life, Young Planet, High Highs, Foxing, Powerkompany, Jacob Golden, Youth Posse, Hey Anna + many more were part of our successful first year in our Jersey City location 🙂

Finally, we were thrilled to have Ryuichi Sakamoto come to the studio to have Joe master the soundtrack for The Revenant movie! (pictured below)
