Our mastering studio is the culmination of our experience and hard work in an ever-changing artistic business over the last twenty years. Having worked in some of New York City’s premier facilities, we saw the need to build a studio from the ground up to meet the demands of today’s recording artists, record labels and producers. Grammy-nominated mastering engineer, Joe Lambert, has developed a wonderfully creative audio environment with an artistic and comfortable vibe to ensure we are making the best sounding records possible.
Our clients have come to expect first class personal attention as well as a first class facility with all the best tools available and we are always working to exceed your expectations.
Give us a call or shoot us an email. We look forward to working with you.
Oh thank you Diana… no lie, I was telling SubPop (and my wife) and anyone who would listen…coming to hang with you both was one of the nicest musical experiences ever… truly..
I love working with y’all. Amazing work, efficiency, communication, website, etc. 5 out of 5 stars!
Just heard the track and all I can say is WOW, WOW, WOW! I’m never going to release a track again without running it through your ears. It sounds fantastic!
You guys are some of the best and easiest to work with people in music. Sounds amazing. Thanks again!
“Hey Joe and Diana,
The Band has listened and are blown away! There is nothing better than hearing that and I so appreciate what you guys do to help me keep my clients happy. You guys Rock!”
“Thank you to both you and Diana – – this whole process was so seamless and I appreciate your talent and experienced advice. I look forward to having my future tracks mastered by you and hopefully building an ongoing relationship with you and your team.”
“Thank you for doing such a wonderful job on our album! We listened to it on every speaker/headphone/earbud we have and it sounds great everywhere. Crisp highs, booming lows, punchy kick…better than we had hoped. I recorded the darn thing on a $500 ZOOM 8 track. We never thought it would end up like this. Thank you again, you’ve made us very happy. We hope to work with you again in the future!”
“Thanks for the great job on TOTDY (Too Old To Die Young) ….I’m really happy with the sound!”
“The masters sound perfect and represent exactly what we were going for.”
“I got a chance to listen to the tracks and they are PERFECT. It’s been such a pleasure working with you both on this project. You’ve been incredibly professional and just a joy to collaborate with.”
“You guys have exceeded my expectations and really added a lot of taste and vibe to this recording. Joe you nailed it with the clarity, it’s amazing. And I love how it sounds pushed and modern, but still easy on the ears. As a whole it is very cohesive and beautiful.”
“The finalization sounds much rounder, less pressured, nice and easy going! Each time I come to you, it’s worth every cent!”
“The transparency of the volume increase achieved is outstanding. Zero negative squeezing or crunching from limiting. Listening through, I’m struck by 2 big things – 1) the expanded sub freq low end while retaining the clarity down there is not easy and is fantastic. 2) Somehow even with limiting, the transient impact across the mid and mid-high freq range is lip smacking good! ” The songs sound great! Thanks!
Dear Joe, Absolutely beautiful job on the Mackey. How do you do this? I’m more than happy.
“This sounds great! I dig your approach to flattening out the spiky stuff. The image has held together, the vocal sounds awesome and 6-8 dB of dynamic range is totally my sweet spot. Great work, thank you!”
Joe, it’s almost like a re-mix🙂 You’ve made this album so much more focused and enjoyable to listen to for me!
This is my 6th album, and the very first time that the first pass of the master has just floored me. such a beautiful job.
Hey Joe,
Thank you! I listened through a couple of times this week, and i have to say, and i’m not being hyperbolic when i do, that i think this is the best mastering job i’ve ever had on anything… sounds awesome! thanks thanks thanks!!! mk
You mastered my biggest hit and people constantly talk/ask about how punchy and and different it sounds compared to other records.. I will send stuff to you as I always do..
As always, you did a fantastic job…… you have great ears and great taste when mastering. Hope to see you again soon!
Joe seems to instinctively know what to do with my records. He has a great feel for rock and I like working with people who make me look good.
The sh*t sounds really really awesome! I can’t stop listening. This is the first time i’ve listened through and really felt like the thing sounded cohesive like a record — I know the tunes were pretty divergent so it’s no small feat to get them to sound that way.
Joe is responsive, reactive and rocking! He’s always there in a pinch. Happy to answer even the most basic questions and (he) is key to our releases. Thank God for Joe!
Just want to say it was a pleasure meeting you and watching you work. It sounds fantastic A big improvement from where it was. It really sounds cohesive.. Great job!
I have used Joe to master my last 7 records. His ears are spot on, his gear and room are top notch and his approach is professional without being “stiff”. I enjoy our mastering sessions and look forward to hear what Joe’s mastering brings to the mixes, they are always better because of his talent. He takes the time to “get into” the vibe of each artist I bring to him, not just slapping on some generic mastering plug-ins! Thanks Joe!
It sounds great! I’m super happy with it, it’s such a pleasure hearing my work with that extra touch that I couldn’t do myself. I’d love to work with you on more projects in the future. Thanks!
I’ve worked with Joe on records that have all been quite different; the Fiery Furnaces, Deerhunter, Baby Dee, Lia Ices, and he has always shown a great understanding of the music, no matter what the style. I feel comfortable taking any project there with the knowledge he’ll make it sound better, every time.
Thanks a lot for the good work. Sounds great! This is really the first time I´m happy with Mastering. I´m really impressed. Wow!
I’m loving it! The masters sound sick. I can’t get over what you did to the bottom end, you tucked everything in perfectly!
